Marks lists the results from a large study (n = 20,771) of full-time university faculty. The study reflects that faculty is “more liberal than they were in decades past”. An unsettling aspect of the article are the reports of vandalization of faculty offices. When faced with rising violence against non-liberal instructors, one administrator placed the blame on the faculty member claiming they were creating a hostile work environment. This article is both informative and alarming.
