M’kayla [Kelly] is a Christian blogger. In The Roots of the Seven Mountains Mandate, she analyzes the origins and provides a commentary on the prophecy and teaching of the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) group. Their teaching focuses believers on bringing about God’s kingdom on earth. According to M’kayla we find seven sphere or mountains to address our time and treasure to bring this about. The seven mountains or spheres are: the family, the church, third school or education, the media, Arts/entertainment/sports, the economy, and the government. M’kayla objects to the idea that we need to generate money and effort to bring about God’s will on earth. She asks good questions like, “why would God instruct anyone to take over these spheres or mountains and build a kingdom here on earth when Jesus stated His kingdom was not of this world”? Perhaps she is correct. The Holy Spirit calls to be faithful, to preach the Gospel to all people, and to focus our attention on God and things not of this world.
